ington Volunteer Fire Department had expressed some reservations about the fire department running July 4th activities in the future. Town Council member Charlie Tompkins is checking into the situation.
Mr. Gooch said that a substantial amount of money was raised during Colonial Christmas weekend for costumes for the colonial dancers and that Santa’s Bakeshop, run by The Inn at the Town Hall, also made a lot of money. He wants someone from the Town Council to meet with the town business council regarding next year’s Colonial Christmas weekend.
