Seven Indicted

Seven indictments were handed down by the Grand Jury during Term Day in Rappahannock County Circuit Court on Monday.
David Winfield Haught, 29, of Sperryville, was indicted for grand larceny. He alledgedly stole a Remington 870 12gauge shotgun, the property of William Mai Fox, in November, 1994.
Christopher Lee Yowell, 19, of Culpeper, was indicted for grand larceny. He is accused of stealing a soft drink vending machine last November, along with its contents, from Burke's Grocery. The vending machine was the property of both the grocery store and Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company of Central Virginia, valued at more than $200.
Brian William Way land, 19, of Washington, was indicted for perjury in a matter held earlier this month in Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court in Rappahannock County.
Roy Wilson Rodgers, 49, of Fredericksburg, was indicted for grand larceny. He is charged with stealing a 1954 Ford 2door sedan, belonging to Scott Shelly and/or Robert B. Wilson, that was taken from the property of Robert and Linda Smith on Route 211, Sperryville last November.
Karen A. Lundregan, 35, of Berwyn Heights, Page County, Maryland, was indicted for two felonies, fraud and uttering. The fraud indictment said that she intended to defraud, obtain by false pretenses or token the property of Faith Mountain Company in the amount of $200 or more. The other indictment charges that she did make, utter, draw or deliver a check drawn on Nationasbank in the amount of $3,295.87 and payable to the order of Faith Mountain Company, Inc. with intent to defraud, knowing that there were insufficient funds in the account. Both offenses occurred last October.
Jerome John Gray, 24, of Maryland, was indicted for fraud, and is charged with obtaining property belonging to Ylva Lindgren last May.
Robert Lee Ramey, 46, of Middletown, was found guilty of violating the terms of his probation, and ordered by Judge W. Shore Robertson to serve his original sentence of six years, less 150 days already served because of other probation violations.
Commonwealth’s Attorney Peter Luke argued successfully that Mr. Ramey should have his probation revoked because this was his third violation.
A joint trial without jury will be held on April 20 for Thomas Clayton Haun, Jr., 24, of Rixeyville, and John Russell Turner, 33, of Culpeper. Both men are charged with stealing a coffeewood log and selling it for $200. Two others have also been charged in this case.
Tony Capies, 29, of Washington, D.C., was *n court for violation of probation. Judge Robertson decided to give Mr. Capies another chance, and told Mr. Capies he will be on supervised probation for one year. Also, Mr. Capies must pay his court costs by September 1, 1995.
