The Town of Washington Architectural Review Board approved three applications last week.
Rob Parrish of Harris Hollow Road plans to install one-over-one windows in a third floor tower of his house, replacing the existing shutters. At present there are no windows behind the shutters.
Robin Kevis, acting as an agent for Piedmont Avenue resident Fawn Evenson, discussed plans to build a new porch on the west side of Ms. Evenson’s house.
The application passed unanimously, though ARB member Dwight Matthews questioned whether ARB chairman Donna Kevis might have a conflict of interest, as her husband would be working on the porch. She said because the project was under $7,000, it didn’t matter.
