Two men may face additional charges following the death of Ernest Randolph Fletcher Jr., 33, on March 4, according to Commonwealth’s Attorney Peter Luke.
Mr. Luke and Sheriff John Henry Woodward of the Rappahanrrock County Sheriff’s Office ordered an autopsy performed on Mr. Fletcher. The autopsy was ordered, said Mr. Luke, because Mr. Fletcher had died from an unknown reason and had sustained a previous head injury. The sheriff was present for the autopsy at the medical examiner’s office in Washington, D.C., and results are expected in 45 to 60 days.
Mr. Fletcher suffered a vicious beating New Year’s Eve at the 211 Quicke Mart on U.S. 21 1 outside Washington. Two men were arrested and charged with malicious wounding in that incident — Roy Wayne Sisk, 31, of Sperryville, and
