Mr. Owen Cubbage, Richmond Road, down Castleton way has certainly been remembered on his birthday his big day being Tuesday when Mr. and Mrs. Gratt Buraker of Culpeper arrived with cake and ice cream. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. tubbage were entertained by their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Terry Cubbage at Chasons Restaurant in Fredericksburg and en route home they visited Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Frazier.
This 77th birthday celebration was concluded with a party at the Cubbage home on Sunday. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Embrey of Bealeton, Mr. and Mrs. Kevin E. Embrey, Chase and Tiffany of Woodbridge, Mr. and Mrs. Steven Ryan of Centreville, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Tharp, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Cubbage, Mrs. Rosie Wharton, Hope Fincham and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Cubbage, Larie, Heather Rebecca and Patrick, all of Culpeper.
Mrs. Richard Alvey and son David were guests last Sunday of Mrs. George Walker in Richardsville.
A reminder to the people living in the Boston-Reva, Leon and White Shop area there will be an important meeting tomorrow. Thursdav kit the Bethel Baptist Church at 7 p.m. to discuss the formation of a rescue and fire company for the area and folk are urged to attend.
Michael W. Frazier was a Sunday guest of his grandmother, Mr. Eunice Meade in Culpeper.
Mrs. Robin Grigsby and Mrs. Janet Peregory were shopping in Warrenton last Friday.
Mrs. George Butler is beaming with joy over the arrival of a new great-grandson, Brandon Scott, born to her granddaughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Keithley at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton on Monday. Mother and baby are doing well and have been visited by Mrs. Margie Cooper, Ms. Bessie Yancey, Mrs. Butler, Angie Butler, the elder Mr. and Mrs. Keithley and Leslie and other family members.
The home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peregory was the setting for a birthday part on Saturday honoring their little daughter, Jennifer, who was eight years old. Others recognized and honored on their birthdays were Jennifer’s grandfather, Shelvy Frazier, her aunt, Mrs. Alvin Atkins of Sperryville and Jennifer’s greatgrandfather, Rev. James Gheen of Mauertown.
