Donations from those in the community and other friends toward the cost of this recent project may be made to the Renovation fund and mailed to Amissville United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 108, Amissville, Va. 22002. This church was organized on Aug. 12, 1829, and is the oldest Methodist Church in Rappahannock County.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Lew Morrison and his family as he is expected to undergo surgery at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, following a brief stay at Fauquier Hospital.
Congratulations to Boosie Dodson upon receiving a 25-year certificate from the Virginia Department of Transportation recently.
His photo was in last week’s Rappahannock News. Boosie has served our community for many years as a volunteer Little League Coach for 21 years and leader with the Boy Scouts, for which he was nominated for the Governor’s Award for Volunteering Excellence (GAVE), and he received the Governor’s Citizenship Award.
