■ One-Stop Shopping Party The second annual one-stop shopping party will be held Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 14 and 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at The Shops at Mountainside Market, one mile west of Sperry ville on U.S. 211. There will be gourmet and natural foods, books, fine art, cards, jewelry, clothing and collectibles. Each store will feature holiday tastings and valuable give-aways. Tree Lighting Ceremony The annual tree lighting ceremony will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13 at the front of the Rappahannock Courthouse in the town of Washington. Rev. Phil Bailey will officiate and there will be Christmas carols, etc. The community is invited to attend.
