Panther Pride
During First
Six Weeks
There were 176 RCHS students eligible for Panther Pride membership at the end of the first six weeks.
To be eligible students must have no grade below a "C," no discipline referrals and no more than one day absent.
The junior class had the highest percentage of students eligible, 58 percent. Half the seniors were eligible as were 48 percent of sophomores, 44 percent of freshmen and 37 percent of eighth graders.
The students were to be recognized in an assembly and receive pins, special T shirts, and free passes to athletic events.
An additional absense will be accepted for first semester membership (a total of four for the semester). Principal Jack Raines plans to have a special reward for those students who maintain membership for both semesters.
