Carol Kelley McLain, 35, of Hood, Virginia, was given 12 months' supervised probation. A jury had found her guilty of unlawful entry, a misdemeanor, in September. Judge Robertson sentenced her to 12 months in jail but suspended that sentence and gave her probation instead. She must also pay restitution.
