4-H Share-the-Fun Show Planned
The 4-H Share The Fun Talent Show will be held at 5 p.m. on Feb. 15 at the Rappahannock County High School. Anyone interested in performing can pick up information at Rappahannock County Elementary, High School or the Extension Office. Rehearsals begin Thursday, Jan. 16 at the Rappahannock County High School auditorium at 3:30 p.m. In case of High School closing or early dismissed due to bad weather, the'rehearsal will be canceled. Booster Club To Meet
The Rappahannock Booster Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 20 at the high school. Interested persons are invited to attend.
Adult Education Classes Set
Free night adult education classes are again available in Rappahannock County. Classes meet in the basement of the Rappahannock County Public Library from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday. New students are asked to come for the first time on Wednesday, when the staff is larger. Instruction in math, language, and GED .preparation is given. Support Group To Meet
The BlueRidge Head Injury Support Group will meet from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18 in the parish hall of Trinity Episcopal Church. All survivors, family members and friends are welcome. For information, transportation, directions or support call Pat Salmon at 675-3137.
Meeting Set on Farm Law
The Rappahannock Farmers Association and the local Extension Office are sponsoring a program on the Agricultural Stewardship Act (ASA) starting at 7 p.m. next Thursday, Jan. 16, at the Washington Fire Hall. The ASA is intended to address the issue of water pollution caused by agricultural activities. Agriculture Agent Kenner Love urges all farmers to attend and find out about the implications of this act for their farming practices.
