Another serious wreck has taken place on Route 729 in Amissville.
At about 10:50 p.m. last Friday, a 1989 Plymouth driven by Michael Tuttle, 29, of Castleton, crossed into the southbound lane of Route 729, colliding head-on with a 1992 Mitsubishi driven by Robert Foushee, 38, of Front Royal.
Mr. Tuttle w^s wearing a seat belt and had minor injuries, but Mr. Foushee and two passengers, Tammy Grant and a three-year-old child, were not wearing seat belts. According to Chief J.B. Carter, Jr. of the Amissville Fire Department, all four were transported to the hospital. Ms. Grant was the most seriously injured, said Mr. Carter. She suffered a broken bone and head injuries and required advanced life support systems en route to the hospital.
