PUBLIC HEARING:
TEXT of COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN DRAFT
In accordance with §15.1-450 of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, on Monday, February 3, 1997, at 7:00 p.m/at the Courthouse in Washington, VA, the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors shall hold a public hearing on the text of the DRAFT Comprehensive Plan for Rappahannock County.
The Plan, prepared by the Rappahannock County Planning Commission and adopted by them after extensive public hearings, represents the blueprint for Rappahannock County's land use planning efforts for the coming years.
Copies are available for inspection at the Rappahannock County Administrator's Office, the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County and the Rappahannock County Library, during normal business hours.
Please note that at a later date, maps, illustrations and other accompanying graphics will be adopted at a later public hearing to approve the layout of the plan document, and that this hearing is to consider the substantive part of the plan, i.e., the text itself All interested persons are invited to attend arid to make comment or to submit their written comments to the County Administrator, P.O.
