Funding for Underserved Populations
and Tobacco Use Control
The Virginia Department of Health is soliciting proposals to award contracts in amounts up to $30,000 to communitybased, not-for-profit organizations in Virginia interested in conducting policy intervention programs to reduce smoking prevalence and initiation among the underserved populations in Northern Virginia. For the purpose of this Request For Proposals (RFP) Northern Virginia is defined as the following counties and any incorporated municipalities within them, including Alexandria (city)- Fairfax, Arlington, Prince William, Loudoun, Fauquier, Warren, Clarke, and Frederick.
