The 1972 Virginia Big Game Trophy Contest will be held in Harrisonburg Oct. 21 following regional contests for animals taken east and west of the Blue Ridge respectively, according to game biologist Max Carpenter who coordinates the Virginia Game Commission sponsored state competition.
Allen Stokes of Sperryville will represent Farmer’s Cooperative members in the Sperryville area at the co-operative’s district election meeting to be held Oct. 10 at the Holiday Inn in Culpeper.
A ceremony for the installation of officers for the Rappahannock County Elementary School SCA was held Tuesday at the school.
