Those interested in water issues in the county should be aware of the Ragged Mountain Resource Center’s plan to host a Water Festival from 2 p.m. until dark on Sunday, Oct. 12, at the Olde Way Art Center in Sperryville.
The Everything Band, who has expressed their concern about water issues in Rappahannock, will perform along with Friends of GAIA and “Bubba Knute.” Julie Coon offered to decorate the stage with drapes and backdrop.
“We, as a community, need to learn to protect and respect water,” said Hunt Harris, of Ragged Mountain Resource Center.
