New Baltimore; his father H. Douglas Smith of New Baltimore; three daughters Karen Webb and Patricia Smith, both of Warrenton, and Cheryl Morris of Culpeper; a son H. Douglas Smith III of New Baltimore; a brother Bryant F. Smith of New Baltimore and two grandchildren Zachary and Connor Webb, both of New Baltimore.
Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his mother Mary Thelma Smith.
He was also a friend to many Rappahannock farmers, as well as in surrounding counties.
Funeral services were held at Moser Chapel on Monday, Sept. 29 with the Rev. Carl Schmahl officiating.
Interment followed in Warrenton Cemetery.
