Wakefield
Suggestions from this district were that proposed expansion and work on Route 630 should be shelved; Route 662 needs work due to dangerous site distance problems; and Route 638, which is not on the six year plan, should be on the plan.
Hampton
Susan Babcock, the Rappahannock Planning Commission’s representative from the Hampton District, spoke as a private citizen and said the county should re-think its approach to dealing with paving, widening and fixing secondary roads in order to preserve the beauty and unique quality of the county.
Jackson
A group of citizens who live along Four Springs Lane asked the board to include it on the six year plan as they desperately desire paving of that road. They agreed to provide written approvals for the board to give the county the 50 foot right-of-way along the road. The board then approved a motion to add Four Springs Lane to the six year plan.
