President Fred Naramore announced the Fall fruit sale is now in progress. The Ruritans will be taking orders for tangelos, naval oranges, and pink grapefruit until Nov. 13. Prices are the same as last year’s $10 for 20 pounds and $18 for 40 pounds of your favorite fruit. Fruit is scheduled to arrive Nov. 29. Money due on delivery. President Naramore called for elections. The nominating committee presented their slate and opened the floor for nominations. The following were elected: Treasurer Jerry Curtis; Secretary Butch Zindel; Vice-President Jerome Mallory; President Charles Mills and Three Year Director Ed Lawrence. President Naramore thanked the wives for their help and support throughout the year. Frank and Ann McWhirt were thanked for their generous donation of $50 each.
