In his biggest margin of victory date, Del. Jay Katzen was reelected the Virginia House of Delegates, winning all precincts of the 31st District and capturing 63 percent of the total vote.
In statewide races, Republicans had a field day. In a clean sweep of statewide offices, they captured the governor’s mansion, the lieutenant governor’s post and the attorney general’s office.
While Katzen retained his 31st District seat for the second time,
