It was noted that monthly statistics of usage of the library in many areas continue to increase. The Five Year Plan for the library, prepared by Shaffer was received with minor revisions.
The treasurer reported the library operated within its approved budget for the first quarter of the fiscal year.
The new podium constructed by Peter Kramer has been installed in the Jamieson Room. _
The board said they greatly appreciate the loan of several of a podium from Trinity Episcopal Church. That podium will be returned to the church.
