Our community is truly fortunate to have a Fire and Rescue Company whose volunteers organize activities for our young people such as the Halloween party Friday night. The kids played several games after the costume judging and the parents were able to visit with friends and neighbors while taste testing the desserts. It was a job well done and we appreciate everyone’s efforts.
October was a busy month a(t the Donald Jones’ home. First, cousins stopped in for an afternoon visit from Wisconsin Dells, Wis.
Donna and Don Marsick and Dale and Jim Holden, who are on their honeymoon, enjoyed the beautiful Virginia countryside. Later, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Edgington visited along with Mrs. Myma Harrison who will be the Jones’ guest during the next three weeks. She is staying over to see her great grandchildren Crockett and Forrest Poland. The family were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Turner of Warrenton on Thursday evening.
