Mary Priest asked about donations to the RAA to rebuild concession stands and replace equipment. Fred announced that Manassas Little League donated used and new equipment, some building materials have been donated, and there will be future fund raisers.
The Bethel Baptist Church is being considered for the November Ruritan dinner meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 8:53 p.m.
The Amissville Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor a ham and turkey dinner on Saturday, Nov. 15 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the fire hall. For more information call Sandi Carter at 937-4218.
Nov. 11 is Veterans Day. This is a golden opportunity to acknowledge the men and women who have served or are serving in our armed forces. It is also a time to remember those who gave their lives for our country and for those still missing in action. God bless all of you and thank you for your service.
