Two of New York's celebrated jazz guitarists return to bpen the new season at The Theatre at Washington on Sept. 9 at 8 p.m. Gene Bertoncini and Frank Vignola, who played to a packed house at The Theatre last December, will again join forces for an evening of jazz solos and duos.

Miranda has earned an B.A. in English from Stanford University, an M.F.A. in Theater Arts and Dancing from Columbia University, and one year studying mask, movement atid design at Ecole Jacques LsjCoq in Paris.
She has experience as a singer, musician, songwriter and teacher, was artist-in-residence at the Lincoln Center ini New York, and this past June was awarded First Prize in the Nanterre Theater Festival in Paris, France, for Godard: Distance and Right."
Kathy Kohls joins Rappahannock schools as a speech pathologist. She was educated at Purdue University, and enjoys reading, travel, and antiques.
Rappahannock native John Norman will join RCHS to teach repair and maintenance and exploratory, and says that "Every student can learn something. . .a different route may be needed to teach them." His interests include fishing and old car and truck restoration.
Karen Sanborn will teach eighth grade physical education. She was educated at James Madison University,
