Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Keyser celebrated their 46th anniversary on Friday by meeting their children, Ms. Debbie Keyser, Mr. and Mrs. Danny Keyser and grandchildren Katie and David at Ichibans' Restaurant in Winchester.
Descendants of the Rev. William B. Dennis met Sunday, Aug. 27 at the Malvern Clubhouse in Madison for their 41 family reunion. Rev. Dennis was a pastor in the county for many years, and they lived in Castleton and Slate Mill area. A large number of family and friends attended.
Brittany Dwyer spent the day Friday school shopping in Charlottesville with her aunt, Cindy from Fork Union. She will start kindergarten on Sept. 5.
Linda, Tammy and Cindy Dwyer and Matthew Seay attended the Demolition Derby at the Page County Fair Friday night.
Mr. and Mrs. Ken Yoder of Elizabethtown, Pa. spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Ruby Dwyer.
Play guests during last week of Tiffany Wayland were Nia and Demi Genther of Strasburg, Nathan Almarode, also of Strasburg, Sean Michael Knick and Vivian Hackney, both of Washington.
Be sure to make plans to attend the "Old Hollow" reunion on Sept. 10 at the Thornton's Gap Regular Baptist Church. It's always good to meet with old friends.
The Sperryville United Methodist Church will have worship service at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 3. Everyone is invited to attend.
