Jack and Mary Curtis and son, Jim Curtis of Linden attended the wedding of Mrs. Curtis' great niece, Christina Mullins to Alejandro Alquinta in Springfield on Saturday. They attended the reception at Tysons Comer at The Atrium.
The 50th wedding anniversary party was held on Saturday in honor of John and Lillian Worth of Fairfax at the home of their daughter, Monica Worth. There were over 40 present including Mr. Worth's nephew, Alan and Anita Worth and children of New York, longtime friends, Bea and Joe Falk of Connecticut.
As a gift the Worth's children and friends sent them back to New York, where they both spent their childhood and where they met.
A toast was made to the couple that they get-together again on their 75th. . A special thanks to Mr. Louis Moore for providing parking space and to the Flint Hill Fire Department for the use of tables for the event.
The guests enjoyed lovely weather and beautiful scenery for the affair. We wish them many more happy years together.
