Pickin' party set
for Labor Day
A pickin' party will be held at Hackley's Country Store in Amissville on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 4 from 1 to 4 p.m.
The Rappahannock 4-H members will be selling tickets for a 50/50 raffle to raise money for the 4-H General Fund to use for 4*H programs. "Bring your voices, instruments, lawn chairs and expect to have a good time," said a spokesperson. For additional information call 937-5373.

on Sunday, Sept. 3
: The Rappahannock Hunt will sponsor the Bull Run Hunt Trail Ride on Sunday, Sept. 3 at Birmingham Farm, Culpeper at 10 a.m. A picnic will be held, those attending should bring a dish to share. English and Western riders welcome. A $15 donation is requested.
