Carnival days

in Amissville

The annual carnival sponsored by the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad is currently underway and will continue through Saturday night.

The parade will be held on Thursday, June 28 beginning at 7 o.m. Crowning of the queen will be Friday night and awarding of prizes on Saturday evening.

Rides are provided by West Virginia amusements for one low price each evening. In addition to rides, there will be games, concessions and fun for the whole family.

Box suppers which will include chicken, potato salad, baked beans, deviled eggs and cake will be featured on parade night, Thursday, June 28. This is the last carnival of the season for Rappahannock and all are encouraged to attend the activities and support a good cause.
