Club Getaway will soon be a reality, thanks to the efforts of a group of motivated County teenagers who believed that it could happen.
; While more adult volunteers would be welcomed to help spruce up the old Black Kettle restaurant in Washington—a temporary site donated by Maggie and David Cole—the teens continued their preparatory efforts and the quest for funds to equip the Club. 'I’hey recently held another successful dance at the Washington Fire Hall, and the attendance attested to the ultimate success of Club Getaway. They will also have a booth at the Fourth of July Jn Washington.
