I had decided, some time
ago, that I would arrange some words that would encourage folks to attend the big party on July 1. I do not remember when or how that I first met Dr. Krebser but it must have been as a patient in his Clinic. I know that he was dedicated to the medical profession. He pulled no punches. His medical concern was not restricted to his office.
Once he stopped his car to yell at me “Smoking will kill you and by the way, ‘stand up straight.”
I’m sure glad that he was not my father. I quit smoking. One of my grandsons refused to go to him again after the Doctor said he was too fat.
