Cooter’s Place, the popular “Dukes of Hazzard” theme shop and museum in Sperryville, will once again play host to Hazzard County’s Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane, the world’s best known and most incompetent lawman.
James Best, the veteran character actor who portrayed Boss Hogg’s bumbling sidekick, will be at Cooter’s Place on Saturday, July 7 and Sunday, July 8 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“Jimmy Best comes to Cooter’s every year,” says Ben (Cooter) Jones, “and every year the crowd gets bigger and Rosco gets wackier. We are delighted to have him back and of course we’ll also have great music, fine food, and lots of classic cars around.”
