At 10 a.m. street vendors will open their booths, and the Friends of the Library book sale will begin at Tbwn Hall. Vendors this year will be selling all kinds of food—from funnel cakes to shiskebob, and barbecue to empanadas. Artisans and artists will hawk their wares, and demonstrate the arts of painting and basket weaving, flower arranging, pottery and tile making, sculpting, and paper making and more.
You will be able to buy tiedyed shirts, jewelry, natural soaps, photographs, paintings, pottery, herbal remedies, quilts, flowers, herbs, and hand-made tiles.
Local non-profits will be there too. They’ll provide information on their missions, sell food and flowers, hold raffles, and add to the good cheer.
The Friends of the Library book sale will feature hundreds, if not thousands, of “new” used books.
The books fill the Tbwn Hall and await your perusal. Children’s books from 25 cents and other selections start at 50 cents. Audio books, novels, history, crafts, nonfiction—all sold to benefit the County library.
Local authors will be at the Ki Theatre to talk about their works and to autograph copies of their latest efforts.
