The Page County Democrats have invited all Rappahannock voters to a dinner with Mark Warner, Democratic candidate for Governor, on Friday, July 6 at 6 p.m. in Stanley. Tickets are $15. All are welcome. Please call 675-3515 for tickets and information by June 27.
Jenkins family reunion set
The Henry P. and Laura H Jenkins family reunion will be held on Saturday, June 30 at the Rappahannock Park on US 211. Those attending should bring a covered dish. For additional information call 987-8170.
Another cleanup day set
The Sperryville Cemetery Ad Hock Maintenance Committee has set Saturday, July 7 as a second cleanup day at the cemetery. All volunteers are requested to join the group at 8 a.m. and bring whatever tools you have that may be of use in general cleanup and trash removal, trimming grass around headstones and markers, pruning shrubs, etc. Cold drinks and snacks will be provided.
Gray Ghost to celebrate
Join Gray Ghost winery’s seventh anniversary celebration, Saturday and Sunday, July 7 and 8 from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Enjoy seasonal hors d’oeuvres, paired with internationally acclaimed Gray Ghost wines. The days’ activities will include live music from noon to 4:30 p.m. and tours scheduled throughout the day.
