Mr. McCarthy proposed that the Commission table the hearing until the July meeting so that he and Mr. Luke could obtain additional information. There was no objection to a continuance.
Other activities
• There was a brief public hearing on the proposed changes to the telecommunications ordinance—Mr. Gannon of RLEP was the sole public speaker, and he encouraged the Commission to complete its work and forward the ordinance to the Board of Supervisors. After discussing changes to the “crane test* requirement to make those optional, the Commission approved a resolution proposing amendments to the “Zoning Chapter of the Rappahannock County Code regarding Telecommunications.’ The Board of Supervisors will consider the proposed amendments at their July meeting.
• The Commission also approved forwarding, to the BZA. a Special Use Application by Margot Dippert for an efficiency apartment, and received the first draft of a lighting ordinance for consideration at a future meeting.
