Longtime area resident Howard Holschuh, known affectionately as “Howdy,” has recently published his first novel, entitled The Piranha t Syndrome. This new book features protagonists from the area.
While fictitious, there are subtle references to Culpeper and Washington (both the town, and George).
The Epilogue takes place in “the foothills of the Shenandoah” in the modest home of Steve and Kathi Roberts off Route 522.
Steve is a photojoumallist and is traveling on vacation before taking over as editor of “Voice of the Blue Ridge,” a magazine published in Culpeper.
