Agriculture Week and the salute goes out to all farmers.
The farm has been an important role in the development of our country. Throughout the world, American farmers are the most productive, and nearly two million Americans are farmers.
With all the research in technology now in the marketplace, vegetables and fruits are more tastier and stay fresh longer.
On the average, now one American farmer can raise enough food to feed one hundred and thirty people, and about fifteen percent of our people are employed on farms.
Even though the Agriculture week has passed we continue to salute our hard working farmers who continue to raise food for the families and stock.
