creative design included an Assemblage (a three-dimensional abstract combination of plant materials and disparate objects); a Duo-Design (a design in one container having a completely different yet related front and back side, each to be judged separately); a Spatial Thrust (two parallel designs of like materials placed with a vacant space between); and a Synergy design (using three or more units of plant material and containers, each being different, but having commonality).
Club members were awed and excited by the ideas presented. as next month the competition will include a Synergy design using the theme of "Up and Around.’’
Members may also exhibit another design depicting their floral interpret ation of a picture or painting they enjoy.
