Monday, March 18. Fortyseven people attended, and, of those, the American Red Cross managed to get 39 pints of blood. This was an excellent showing and all who made the effort are to be commended. Many thanks to Margaret Wiese, RCHS

.• Book Buddies pr at RCES is in its final weeks for this year, and students and tutors are sure to miss this experience. Coordinated by RCES teachers Mrs. Geraldine Payne and Mrs. Terri Genther, selected students from grades one and two have met on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school to work one-onone with a “buddy” to improve their reading and language arts skills. This program was started several years ago, with a generous donation from the Rappahannock Lions, and has now become a part of our school system’s remediation program.
