Fauquier County resident Lisa Sharon Batchelder, a second-year student at Lord Fairfax Community College, was recently inducted into Phi Theta Kappa, the national honor society for students in two-year degree programs.
Batchelder is a 1999 graduate of Liberty High School, and is currently pursuing a degree in criminal justice, with a minor in psychology.
She is the daughter of David Batchelder of Warrenton, and granddaughter of Jane and Roger Batchelder, and Nona and Larry Genebach of Rappahannock County. She is also the niece of Sharon and Peter Luke of Sperryville.
