The brochure featured an artist’s '' sketch of historic Sperryville buildings and scenery by Walter W..-.Burton. The same art is featured in a full-page ad paid for by several Main Street businesses that appears in the 2002 Virginia Trip Planner, being distributed statewide. The SBA also has under development a “virtual village” web site that will link to members and promote all SBA members’ businesses.
The Sperryville Business Alliance was formed this spring to promote Sperryville as a tourist destination and to create a network of Sperryville area businesses to promote mutual support and co-operation. All Sperryville area businesses are welcome to join this voluntary association, whether located on Main Street or U.S. 211 or elsewhere in the area.
