The Board of Supervisors con» vened a meeting on. Old Rock Mills Road at US 211 oh Monday afternoon to help them reach some conclusion as to the advisability of approving new public access through Flatwood Road for the Freeman and other families residing there.
Geraldine Freeman, Donald Porter, and other family members first presented the Board with a plea for assistance in October of last year. Access to their properties was cut off when part of Route 622 was abandoned in 1999, and Mr. Porter told the Board in October of 2001 that the existing right-of-way was submerged and could not be used or repaired. He said that he had not been able to get help from the County, and requested that a representative from the Board of Supervisors visit the site to see the nature of their problem and to help find a solution.
