Demolition Derlcy set

Applications are now being accepted for the Demolition Derby to be held Saturday, Aug. 24 during the Page Fair in Luray. Drivers must be 21 years of age. Cars may include any American made stock, hardtop automobile or station wagon. Official entry blanks are available by calling 743-4949. Registration is guaranteed to the first 60 applicants. The fair runs from Aug. 18 through Aug. 24.

Red Cross Golf Tournament set

The Culpeper-Madison Chapter of the American Red Cross is hosting a Golf Tournament at the Culpeper Country Club on Monday, July 15. Featuring a “Drive for the Chrysler" Hole-In-One contest, this tournament offers golfers the opportunity to win a shiny new car. Continental breakfast begins at 7:30, followed by a 9 a.m. shotgun start. The $75 fee covers breakfast, lunch, cart and greens fee. For more information call 825-8611.
