I am a relative newcomer to
Rappahannock County (since 1993) and have no children in the public schools. Nevertheless, I have a continuing interest in the progress of elementary and secondary education in the county. I have served for a year as a volunteer teacher’s assistant in the schools, as well as having been a member of the Headwaters Board.
I write in the context of this continuing interest to offer some views on the Board of Education’s search for a
