Lengthy discussions and a series of tie votes led to a Town Planning Commission "no decision" on Mary Ann Kuhn's request for a Zoning Ordinance text amendment that would add an expanded use "Bed and Breakfast Inn category to the ordinance.

Witn Commission chair Jean Goodine reportedly on vacation until September, newly appointed Commissioner Barbara Stockton in her premier Planning Commission meeting, and Town Councilman-elect Jeff Benson at his final Commission meeting, the Town of Washington Planning Commission is in a state of flux, and the ultimate outcome of Ms. Kuhn's request is highly dependent upon the configuration of that body.
