Casey Longyear, longtime resident of Rappahannock County, graduated cum laude with a Classical diploma from Wakefield County Day School in Huntly on Sunday, June 2.
Miss Longyear will be a freshman at Virginia Commonwealth University this fall and will be pursuing a degree in fashion merchandising and design.
Casey is the daughter of Walter and Susan Longyear of Washington.
