Additional survivors include two adopted daughters. Jessica Ross of Culpeper and Elaine Brown of Orange: three brothers, Richard Slaughter and George Slaughter, both of Reva and Sherman Slaughter of Culpeper; two sons-in-law, Greg Fields of Manassas and Lenny Wright of Reva; four sisters-inlaw, Minister Hattie Slaughter and Nannie Slaughter, both of Reva, Luci Osborne of Harrisburg, Pa. and Janie Jackson of Sperryville and one brother-in-law, Rav Jackson of Sperryville.
He is also survived by six grandchildren; four godsons; one goddaughter and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Mr. Slaughter was predeceased by his stepfather, George Slaughter Sr. and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, July 23 at Found and Sons Chapel with Rev. Michael E. Tinsley officiating.
Interment follow ed in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Woodville.
