The Rappahannock school system may be facing a crisis in providing fuel for the bus fleet for the coming school year. Quarles Petroleum, which has been providing gasoline and diesel fuel at the bus shop, did not submit a bid for the coming year. The company owns the two underground gasoline tanks and one above ground diesel tank. School Superintendent David Gangel told the School Board Tuesday night that he believes Quarles would be winning to give the tanks to the school system instead of removing them.
