Since 1997, Headwaters has presented over $57,000 in mini-grants to the public school staff. The grants allow implementation of innovative projects that might not otherwise occur due to budget restraints.
Every penny of these grants has come from donations made to Headwaters by members of the community who care deeply about children’s educational opportunities.
Headwaters was founded in 1997 with the mission “to foster educational excellence by cultivating the cooperative spirit and resources of the whole community to benefit all students.”
