Meanwhile, the October meeting was held at Shenandoah National Park-Skyland. Ron Nemes, Park Ranger, presented the program, “Exotic Horticulture in Virginia.” Betty Wood received the blue ribbon for her design, “Jack O’Lantern.” Blue ribbons for horticulture were awarded to Susan Jones, Betty Wood, Jeanne Jarrett and Sally Havstad.
The November meeting will be held at the Washington Fire Hall. Carol Miller will present the program, “Christmas at Home.”
