Fire Fighter Training facility
The Rappahannock County Volunteer Fire & Rescue Association (the Association) is soliciting bids on services to provide a replacement fire fighting training building.
A pre-bid meeting will be held for any prospective bidders with questions or requests for additional information on Friday. November 21, 2003 at 10:00 AM at the Rappahannock County Courthouse Attendance is not required in order to bid on the work herein described. No prequalification is required for this contract. The project is described in plans prepared by Chuck Stephenson, P E., dated 4/28/03 and available from the County Administration Office (540) 675 5330.
All bids should be submitted in a letter clearly identifying the company providing the service, be signed by the principal of the firm, and shall note any exclusions or limitations. The basis for the bid shall also be stated: for this agreement, a final and complete finished price shall be stated. All bids must be received at the County Administrator s Office. Old Extension Office, 290 Gay Street. PO Box 519, Washington, VA 22747 by Friday, December 19, 2003, by 3:00 PM. They will be opened and publicly read at the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company at 7:00 PM that same day.
