On Thursday, Nov. 20, the Global Spotlights lecture series will present an enlightening program, “Egypt Today: Changing Times in an Ancient Land,” which will answer some of these questions about modem Egypt.
The lecture will range from an exploration of Egypt’s two distinct religious cultures, Sunni Moslem and Coptic, to a discussion of the country’s environmental and economic outlook.
Plan to arrive at the Rappahannock County High School band room at 7:30 p.m. for a chance to examine Egyptian art and artifacts on display.
